The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned Technical Solution Architect who will lead the architecture, integration strategy and delivery excellence of Innovapptive’s field mobility and connected worker products portfolio discussion with Customer. This role combines deep problem-solving capability along with technical architecture leadership. and customer-facing stakeholder management. The Architect will partner with global customers IT teams to translate business pain points into field-ready digital technical solutions.
The Architect will own the mobility platform deployment strategy across Asset Management, Work Execution, Field Service, Maintenance and Warehouse workflows. This includes driving product evolution, ensuring enterprise-grade scalability & reliability by collaborating with the Product team on issues identified in the field.
This is a hands-on technical architect role who combines deep technical knowledge with excellent customer engagement skills.
The ideal candidate will have strong program technical delivery skills, and a passion for driving measurable outcomes in terms of delivering Reliability, Scalability & Time-to-value for customers with our product.
How You Will Make An Impact.
1. Own End-to-End Technical Architecture
Mandatory:
- Lead full architecture lifecycle across pre-sales, implementation, and post-go-live phases.
- Define scalable SaaS architecture for enterprise digital transformation programs.
- Ensure architectural consistency across multi-system, multi-country deployments.
Preferred:
- Influence product architecture and roadmap direction based on Customer Requirements
2. Drive Technical Integration Excellence
Mandatory:
- Architect integrations with SAP ECC, EHP, S/4HANA, IBM Maximo, or Oracle EAM/ERP.
- Define API contracts, authentication models, data mapping, and error handling frameworks.
- Design integration strategies using REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, RFC, MQ, Kafka, synchronous and asynchronous messaging.
- Establish API-led, microservices-based architecture on AWS or Azure.
Preferred:
- Lead complex cross-system orchestration patterns across industrial ecosystems.
- Optimize integration performance, resilience, and observability frameworks.
3. Enable Secure and Scalable Cloud Platforms
Mandatory:
- Implement enterprise authentication models including OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, and token-based security.
- Design multi-tenant SaaS scalability, reliability, and performance frameworks.
- Align architecture with enterprise security and compliance standards.
Preferred:
- Cloud architect certifications such as AWS Architect or Azure Architect.
- Formal training in enterprise architecture or governance frameworks.
4. Architect Offline-First Mobility for Industrial Operations
Mandatory:
- Design offline-first mobile platforms including sync engines, conflict resolution, and transactional reliability.
- Translate EAM, CMMS, Asset Management, and Field Execution workflows into scalable mobility architecture.
- Perform deep debugging including log analysis, crash diagnostics, memory leak identification, and concurrency troubleshooting.
Preferred:
- Experience in Connected Worker platforms or industrial mobility ecosystems.
- Exposure to AI-enabled workflows, computer vision use cases, or Generative AI integrations.
5. Lead Customer-Facing Architecture Engagements
Mandatory:
- Conduct architecture workshops, solution modeling sessions, and executive design reviews with CIOs and CTOs.
- Produce formal architecture artifacts including Application Design Documents and integration specifications.
- Support RFP responses, roadmap briefings, and CXO-level discussions.
Preferred:
- Experience working with Fortune 500 industrial enterprises.
- Experience influencing enterprise-wide architecture governance boards.
6. Lead Complex Transformation Programs
Mandatory:
- Lead architecture governance across multi-country transformation programs.
- Discuss and work with customers on the deployment strategy, migration planning, change control, and rollout governance.
- Ensure traceability, domain-driven design alignment, and quality gate compliance.
Preferred:
- Prior exposure to manufacturing, energy, utilities, chemicals, mining, or telecom industries.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale rollout acceleration programs.
7. Observability
Mandatory:
- Align with Engineering on observability frameworks using ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, Mixpanel, or distributed tracing tools.
- Align DevOps, CI/CD, performance benchmarking, and SaaS reliability practices.
- Promote structured architectural decision-making with risk-based governance.
Preferred:
- Experience leading reliability engineering maturity initiatives.
- Exposure to cloud-native governance models and engineering excellence programs.
What You Bring to the Team:
1. Technical Architecture Depth
Mandatory:
- 10+ years of enterprise Technical cum Solution Architecture experience across SaaS products and digital transformation programs.
- Leadership experience in enterprise mobility, integration architecture, or Connected Worker platforms.
- Proven ownership of end-to-end architecture delivery.
- TOGAF certification.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated strategic contribution to long-term platform evolution.
2. Integration & Cloud Expertise
Mandatory:
- Hands-on experience integrating with any one of the Product (i.e. SAP PM/EAM, IBM Maximo, or Oracle ERP/EAM systems)
- Strong expertise in integration patterns and cloud-native microservices architecture.
- Deep understanding of authentication frameworks including OAuth2, SAML, LDAP.
Preferred:
- Multi-cloud architecture exposure.
- Experience modernizing legacy integration landscapes into API-led ecosystems.
- Knowledge of any one of the middleware tool (i.e. CPI, PI/PO, SAP Integration Manager, Mulesoft , ESB etc)
3. Industrial & Domain Knowledge
Preferred:
- Deep knowledge of EAM, CMMS, Asset Management, Maintenance, and Field Operations domains.
- Experience in Connected Worker platforms and industrial mobility solutions.
- Exposure to manufacturing, energy, utilities, chemicals, mining, or telecom sectors.
- Experience with Fortune 500 industrial enterprises.
4. Strategic & Leadership Competencies
Mandatory:
- Strategic thinking with ability to translate domain problems into scalable platform capabilities.
- Strong analytical rigor with structured and risk-based architectural decision-making.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, and Professional Services.
- Experience leading multi-country, multi-stakeholder programs.
Preferred:
- Experience shaping enterprise product strategy.
